This free pattern is for a voodoo doll crochet pattern. This harmless little guy was made with love, and I hope you have as much fun crocheting him as I did creating him. Feel free to customize him to your liking with any color of yarn that you choose.
Maybe mix it up with some various eye styles and stitches? The possibilities are endless!

Supplies You Will Need:
- Crochet hook (3.75mm or any size you prefer)
- Buttons of varying sizes
- Yarn needle
- Stitch marker
- Polyester Fiberfill
- Worsted weight (size 4) yarn in any color(s) you choose
- Optional: worsted weight (size 4) yarn in various colors to create decorative stitching on the body and head

Head:
- MR 6 (6)
- Inc x 6 (12)
- 1 sc, 1 inc x 6 (18)
- 2 sc, inc x 6 (24)
- 3 sc, inc x 6 (30)
- 4 sc, inc x 6 (36)
- 5 sc, inc x 6 (42)
- -15. Sc around (42)
- For the first eye, sew a small button around Round 10. You can make this as big or as small as you’d like.
- For the second eye, sew a large button about 5 sts to the right of the small one, and one round above on Round 9. This gives the eyes a slightly offset appearance and adds to the character!
- The eyes really make all the difference for this voodoo doll. Try out different combinations of button sizes and colors. Play with the placement, or try embroidering an X for one or both eyes too!
Each and every voodoo doll is unique and adorable! You really can’t go wrong.
Now to Finish Up the Head:

Fasten off first leg, leaving a long tail for sewing.
Stuff legs lightly, but do not over stuff the feet so the doll can stand on its own.
Using a yarn needle, take the beginning tail and weave it up through the center of the foot shown in the pictures below. This will help him stand on his own!
Continue to stuff lightly as you go.
Do not fasten off the second leg but continue to Round 8 below:
8. Join leg 2 to any stitch in Round 7 on leg 1 with a standing sc.

Fasten off, leaving a long tail. Use the tail to sew the head to the body.

Pinch arm closed and sc across to sew closed.
Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing to the body.
Sew arms onto body, about 2 rounds down from the head.
* If you’d like, you can embroider stitches randomly around the body, glue on patches, embroider a heart, etc. Whatever you’d like to add to your voodoo doll to give him some extra character!
